If you love classic ways of storing your photos and don’t have time to create a photo book, we recommend a simple yet timeless solution—photo albums. Feel free to visit our studio and explore our photo album display.
Insert or Stick-In Album? An everlasting dilemma.
Even we, as professionals, sometimes find it hard to decide! However, there are some guidelines that can help you choose the right type of album for your needs. If you’re looking for an album for your wedding photos or baptism photos, whether taken by a professional photographer or a friend or relative, we highly recommend a stick-in album rather than an insert album. This type of album allows you to combine photos of different sizes, giving
you more creative freedom.
For a touch of elegance, consider albums with black pages, where you can stick in photos with a white border for a refined and artistic look. If your printed photos don’t have a border, then an album with white pages may be a better choice.
These albums are meant to be passed down through generations, so handling them with care is essential. Avoid leaving fingerprints on photos – you can prevent this by choosing matte paper
(also known as “lustre” paper) when printing your photos or by using cotton gloves when flipping through your album.
Types of Stick-In Albums
We offer stick-in albums in both large and small sizes, which are highly sought after. They are practical if you plan to store a smaller number of photos, such as 10, 30, or 50 images. There
are also accordion-style albums that hold 10 photos, making them ideal for easy storage and quick sharing.
If you’re looking for an album that you’ll frequently show to a larger group of people, an insert album may be a better option.
The first step is to determine the size and number of your photos. In our studio, you’ll find small, medium, and large insert albums designed for 10×15 cm and 13×18 cm photo formats, with capacities of 40, 100, 200, or even 500 photos. A practical and efficient solution, wouldn’t you agree?
